All valves produced by the firm are constructed to ensure tight shutoff and pressure cycling and will function well in situations where other valves made out of brass or cast iron are not suitable.

How Bronze Valves Work?

Each valve type uses a different internal mechanism, but the shared principle is controlling flow by opening, closing, or regulating a passage:

  • Gate valves raise or lower a gate perpendicular to flow.

  • Globe valves move a disc up and down against a seat to throttle flow.

  • Ball valves rotate a bored ball a quarter turn to open or block the flow path.

  • Check valves use gravity, spring tension, or flow pressure to allow one-directional flow and block reverse flow automatically.

  • Butterfly valves rotate a disc within the pipe bore to modulate or stop flow.

The bronze body and internals resist scaling, pitting, and wear that would otherwise degrade sealing performance over time.

  • Corrosion and Dezincification Resistance -  Bronze is more resistant to corrosion by water, steam, and slightly acidic media compared to regular brass.

Manufacturing Process of Bronze valve:

SVR Global manufactures bronze valves using sand casting or investment casting, followed by CNC machining for precision tolerances on sealing surfaces, threads, and flange faces. Each valve undergoes:

  • Material composition verification

  • Dimensional and surface finish inspection

  • Hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing

  • Seat leakage testing

  • Final visual and functional inspection before dispatch
