Needle Valve Manufacturer in USA
SVR Global manufactures needle valves designed to regulate flow rate with a fine degree of accuracy. Built for applications where exact throttling matters more than rapid shutoff, our needle valves are supplied in a range of sizes, materials, and end connections to match project-specific piping requirements.
From instrumentation lines to process systems, our valves are manufactured to hold tight tolerances and repeatable performance across each production batch.
Working Mechanism of Needle valve:
Handwheel is turned, rotating a threaded stem
Stem motion is converted into straight-line travel of the needle
Needle is tapered, so it enters the seat gradually, not all at once
As the needle advances into the seat, the flow opening narrows
Further turning fully seats the needle, sealing the orifice and stopping flow
Reversing the handwheel retracts the needle, reopening the passage
Small stem movements produce small, precise changes in flow this is what enables fine throttling
Differs from ball/gate valves, which shift between full open and full closed rather than metering flow
Materials of Construction:
SVR Global needle valves are available in a range of materials selected according to the pressure, temperature, and media compatibility of the application:
Stainless steel (SS304, SS316, SS316L)
Carbon steel
Alloy steel
Duplex and super duplex steel
Brass
Bronze
Seal and seat materials are selected to match service conditions, including nitrile and other elastomer or metal to metal sealing options for high temperature or corrosive media.
Sizes and Pressure Ratings:
Sizes ranging from 1/4" up to 2"
End connections: threaded, socket weld, and compression fittings
Pressure classes to suit low, medium, and high pressure instrumentation and process lines
Needle valve Industries Applications:
SVR Global supplies needle valves to sectors where controlled, incremental flow regulation is a functional requirement:
Oil and gas production, refining, and pipelines - Isolation and metering of process fluids in upstream, midstream, and downstream facilities
Petroleum and petrochemical processing - Controlled fluid delivery of feedstocks, catalysts, and process fluids
Power plant applications - Regulation of steam, water, and fuel flows in turbine and boiler systems
Water and wastewater treatment plants - Dosing and sampling control through the various stages of treatment
Chemical processing industries - Controlled delivery of corrosive or reactive fluids in both batch and continuous process systems
Offshore oil platforms and ships - Flow control of hydraulic, fuel, and utility fluids
Mining and minerals processing - Regulation of process fluids including reagents and slurry additive delivery
Paper manufacturing - Control of chemical injection and process water in production line systems
Instrumentation and aerospace applications - Precision fluid regulation in test equipment and monitoring systems
Desalination and seawater treatment - Flow regulation in filter and reverse osmosis systems
Standards of Needle valve:
