Super duplex valve manufacturer in USA
Super duplex valves engineered for high pressure, high corrosion service environments across the United States. SVR Global produces gate, globe, ball, check, and butterfly valves in super duplex stainless steel grades, built to hold tight tolerances under sustained mechanical and chemical stress.
What is a Super Duplex Valve?
The super duplex valve is made up of a stainless steel that is made up of a two-phase composition, which consists of equal amounts of ferrite and austenite phases. The strength of the steel is a result of the mixture of the two and hence is stronger than the single-phase austenitic stainless steel and more tough than single-phase ferritic stainless steel. It is more resistant to yield strength than the standard austenitic stainless steels. Its other advantages include resistance to pitting, crevice, and chloride stress corrosion.
Materials and Grades:
SVR Global manufactures valves using the following super duplex and duplex grades:
Each casting and forging is traceable, with mill test certificates and material verification available on request.
Manufacturing Process of Super duplex valve:
Material Sourcing & Verification - Raw duplex and super duplex billets, bars, and castings are sourced and verified against ASTM/ASME chemical composition requirements.
Casting/Forging - Bodies and components are cast or forged to the required pressure class and dimensional specification.
Machining - CNC machining ensures that the port, flange face, and stem bore is within tolerance.
Heat Treatment - The solution annealing and controlled cooling processes ensure that the balanced austenite to ferrite ratio is achieved for corrosion resistance purposes.
Assembly - Ball, seats, stems, and trim are assembled and torqued to specifications.
Testing - Hydrostatic shell test, seat leakage test, and Non-destructive testing (NDT: radiographic, penetrant or ultrasonic test) are carried out.
Marking & Packaging - Valve is marked according to ASME B16.34 or client specification standards.
