What is a 3 Way Plug Valve?
A 3 way plug valve has a rotating plug with a bored passage that connects the common port to one or both remaining ports. Not like a 2 way valve, this three port design lets a single valve divert, mix, or isolate flow functions that would otherwise need two or more inline valves.
Core Components:
Valve body: houses the three ports and the plug bore commonly cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel (WCB, WCC), or stainless steel (CF8, CF8M, 316, 304).
Plug: tapered or cylindrical, with a T-port or L-port passage machined through it.

How a 3 Way Plug Valve Works?
Rotating the plug aligns its internal passage with different port combinations, changing the flow path without removing the valve from the pipeline.

Or split one inlet stream into two simultaneous outlets.
