Function & Working
An eccentric plug valve uses a cylindrical or tapered plug mounted on an offset shaft. The offset design allows the plug to lift and rotate away from the seat without scraping, reducing wear and extending service life. The plug rotates 90 degrees between open and closed positions, providing reliable shutoff and excellent throttling capability.
