Pressure Reducing Valve Manufacturer in USA – SVR Global
SVR Global is a specialized Pressure Reducing Valve Manufacturer in USA, supplying valves engineered to regulate downstream pressure in water, steam, gas, and cryogenic systems. Our PRVs ensure stable outlet pressure regardless of upstream fluctuations, protecting pipelines, pumps, and equipment from overpressure conditions. With a USA-based manufacturing facility, we provide direct acting and pilot operated designs built to API, ASME, ANSI, and DIN standards for both municipal and industrial applications.
Function & Working
A pressure reducing valve automatically lowers and stabilizes outlet pressure.
In direct acting PRVs, a spring and diaphragm/piston mechanism senses outlet pressure and adjusts the plug opening.
In pilot operated PRVs, a smaller pilot valve modulates the main valve for more accurate regulation, even under large flow variations.
This self-contained design requires no external power, ensuring reliable performance in both low-pressure utility networks and high-pressure industrial systems.
Advantages
Self-operated mechanism with no external power needed
Provides constant downstream pressure under variable inlet conditions
Prevents overpressure damage to pipelines and equipment
Available in direct acting and pilot operated constructions
Suitable for liquids, gases, steam, and cryogenic services
Wide range of body materials for waterworks and heavy industries
